Australian Farmers New Biodegradable Fertilizer
Bio Ignite Fertilizers are totally composted chicken litter based product. The raw product is inoculated with favourable indigenous bacteria and fungi along with other organic products that will stimulate the bacteria and fungi which will buffer excess salt and toxins and improve both productivity and yields and soil health.
Our inputs and processes have been certified by ACO Certification Ltd (formerly Australian Certified Organic) as both organic and safe for use.

There are different stages of a crop’s life in which fertiliser can be introduced. When this introduction takes place prior to planting (or seeding), it is called pre-plant fertilisation. This method offers several notable benefits including ease of application over the area to be planted, affordability and efficacy.
Pre-plant fertiliser is best suited to soils with heavier textures and should be applied at different rates depending on your soil analysis for best results.
We offer a soil analysis service at a very affordable fee and also the continued monitoring of your soil health and the progress of your crop.

History & Backstory
In the early 1920’s, the Lathouras family settled in the Bundaberg region and set about building a reputation for exceptional goods and quality service. This was passed down for generations and in 2019, John Lathouras founded Bio Ignite Fertilisers to bring that standard of quality and services to customers in the fields of agriculture and horticulture. The result is a Bundaberg-based fertiliser company that offers an organic and effective product that’s suited to all crops and gentle on the environment and your wallet.

I’ve used a range of fowl based fertilises over the years, this formula is clearly superior. John encouraged me to apply his product on my productive trees, ornamentals, and lawns. The results have surpassed expectations despite the lack of summer rains. As expected, the results were slow to show, the benefit being sustained healthy growth, especially on the lawns. Not a bolt of green that occurs with nitrogen fertilisers and the subsequent lawn grub invasion!

We bailed that paddock on the weekend that we fertilised we usually get 92 bails we got 117 and this is the least amount of rain it's ever had .... so it makes a big difference
